First I'd like to apologize if this has been brought up, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
As much as I love this site, I spend more time searching for my specific build model than actually reading posts. Searching for 796, m796, or 2012 doesn't help much at all. Monster models and numbers are used so much that searching for it brings up hundreds of threads.
Is there any way we could make subforums for different years and models? Every forum I'm on- be it cars or bikes- always has build specific sub forums. Or am I the only one who cares...?
I would think there are too many models. Why don't you start "The Official 2012 796 thread"
I personally don't like the sub-forums like the other monster site. Feels like segregation with way too many sub-catatories. It's nice having everybody in the same bathtub.
We ARE a subforum ;D

Here's my thinking...
They're all Ducs, and all subject to the same shortcomings and upgrades/mods. This is a community, not a reference library.
Like I told my doctor...just because your blood pressure box says 120/70 doesn't mean I want to fit into it. I hate boxes.
The answer is it isn't gonna happen. ;D
Not even for Bimotas??!
It is kinda monster like in a way........

Well that answers that, thanks guys :P
I understand and agree with everyone, and yes it is nice to have everyone in one place for coversations. Although this isn't a "reference library", I think everyone can agree that it's the best place to go for reference when it comes to our bikes.
or I could just trust the dealership for all my questions [bang]
Heck, I still go here to get advice even after I sold my Monster! A Duc is a Duc is a Duck. Quack.
Unless it's a bird.
I thought it was a penguin

Depends. Is it facing right or left?
Does color matter?
maybe there's some compromise?
I don't know what's available in SMF, but is there a way to add a category to a message so you can search/filter by that category?
say like check boxes with the model, or general tech issues (clutch, brakes, electrical, etc)?
Compromise? On whether it's a bird or an eagle?
I propose a sub-forum for boobies.

If you put them on a treadmill, will they take off?

I thought that was settled:

I'll go with the eagle takes off, but the bird does not.
But I still want to know what it represents.

Not available
SMF search works much like any other with key words being the only factor.
It all depends on how detailed the original post was, and how many of the keywords are used in a search.
