Title: anyone familiar with ford broncos
Post by: cokey on November 05, 2013, 09:41:32 AM
Was looking at the Ford broncos..  want one for off road/ bug out vehicle use...  like the 1980 body..   want it carved but wouldn't mind just getting a shell and fitting any carved engine I could fit..

Hell, if a diesel fits, I may just try Tht..

No rush in the project though, we won't be leaving the city for at least another 9 months..

Carved Engine? as in:

I'd go with a cast iron version like a 302 V8 [cheeky]

A few months ago one of the writers from Automobile Magazine chronicled his build of an early '90s example using a PowerStroke and 5-speed out of an old SuperDuty. It rips.  [evil]

I'd still want a pre-'78 myself, they're neato.
