I always liked my stock mirrors. They looked great IMO and while a lot of people will laugh at that I have been true to what I liked. Sadly after installing the MA005 Rizoma handlebar the stock mirrors now have an angle to them that is not at all sleek or attractive. Sigh, back tot he catalogs....

You make that sound like it's a bad thing 8)
Rizoma makes a ton of classy alternatives. God their billet is sooo tasty...
Rizoma "Radial" might be a good replacement for the stock.

Go with a set of rizoma spy-r 80, bar end mirrors. I used to hate the look of bar ends, but these are typical beautiful rizoma style and offer excellent visibility.

I have those exact Rizoma mirrors on my M1100. I like 'em a lot. Beautifully made, zero vibes and IMO look great too [thumbsup]

Although unless you tuck in all you see is elbow.
Best mirrors I ever had from the point of view of seeing where you've been were Rizoma Class Retros.
No vibes? You can actually see out of them? I like the look of the Rizoma radials a lot. For some reason I don't like the look of the bar ends mirrors much. Add to that I had Oberon bar end signals and the bars get pretty wide after the adapters. Living in California it is nice to have a narrow bike. [thumbsup]
I also like these and they are almost $150.00 less money. Anyone tried em?

Had something similar to those on one of my old bikes. VERY small viewing area. Replaced them pretty quickly.
I went with these. Oops wrong photo at first.

I was going to suggest the Ducati Viper mirrors . . .
Did you order the adapters as well? ;)
You bet! Did not hurt so bad as I had a credit from the Ducabike Slave sitting there. Jeff at MP is a good guy ( :
Rizoma mirrors look good and don't vibrate, but they mount more narrow than stock mirrors. I have a like new set of beautiful "linea" mirrors that I can't see anything but my elbows with.
I am thinking that seeing my elbows will seem normal, I only use them when at a light or trying to figure out what kind of grill is on the car behind me anyway. [Dolph]

You won't be disappointed (views of Elbonia notwithstanding) [thumbsup].
The Rizoma stuff is definitely amazing!! I have almost everything Rizoma on my bike! lol
if you do more Rizoma stuff in the future, shoot me a pm and I'll try and get ya a hookup :)
To late, I now have the mirrors, next reservoirs, tail tidy, Rev rearsets, frame plugs and handlebar. What is not Rizoma is Ducabike. I sure appreciate the offer though I have to admit the boys at Motowheels treat me pretty well. And I get to say make the beast with two backs a lot in the shop, that's always nice.
BTW there are a couple of very sick Ducs in there right now.

Which model is this? I can't find them on the Rizoma site.
Thanks,
Josh
Rizoma dropped one of the mirrors this year. that was the Radial Naked and they dropped that mirror from their lineup and added the one in the second pic I posted. The big difference is that the Radial has an extra joint in the arm and a bit more length.
It's too late for me too. Rizoma is the bane of my existence...or at least my bank account. (See signature for *most* of it. I have a set of CRG arrow bar ends and they also look sleek and are vib free.
