okay, so I guess that palette that your vehicle rides on would have to have chocks mounted on it for bike(s)

I'm disappointed.

I thought the pallet would get to his apartment with a POS Yugo on it, and he'd run to the window to see his Lambo burning rubber off into the distance.

[thumbsdown]

Why not just stay in your car if you are going to your apartment anyway?

That's a dangerously logical question.

"Currently the En-Suite Sky Porches are residing within the Hamilton Scott luxury private residence in Singapore, and these things are absolutely stunning. The garage system shuttles your vehicle up an elevator parking them right inside your living room. Security precautions have been taken in the form of a fingerprint scanner over an encrypted system to ensure no one can steal your vehicle. So how much does this type of luxury cost exactly? Well a luxury apartment with two park spaces will set you back $7.5 million, while a penthouse house equipped with a four car garage will cost you about $24 million."

wait I have to pay 7.5 million so nobody steal my fully insured car that cost me $250k. No that I'll park it on the street and let my insurance company buy me a new one.

leave your 250K Lambo on the street while you bask in the glory of your Maclaren P1 or Bugatti Veryon on your deck lift...

In a nation where a VW Golf will set you back over $100k, those are way over $250k.

Good thing Ferris Bueller and his buddy Cameron didn't live there.

That would have been a long fall for that Ferrari...

The lift/space area my be be required to be separate space sealed from the apartment for concerns about noxious fumes etc coming from vehicles, hence why you can't ride up.  It could also have a fog system in case a parked vehicle caught fire.
