Title: Hi from the Sunshine Coast Oz
Post by: Gazza M on December 07, 2013, 06:21:26 AM
My name is  Gazza.
I live at Coolum on the Sunshine Coast, an hours ride North of Brisbane.
I have recently bought a 2004 Monster 620.
It is my first Ducati.
I am just in my sixties and returning to riding.
I ride for pleasure... day and nite... I love it  :)
I look forward to learning about Ducati Monsters...reading the posts...
And asking for advice from time to time.
Cheers  Gazza

Welcome Gazza
Its a great international forum with lots of good info for servicing, mods and repairs. There's a few comedians too!

Hi KOKO,
thanks for the welcome mate.
All is good so far. Have even made contact with a local aussie who I will go on a ride with in the new year.
Only slight negative is that I am having a struggle with getting a pic of my bike loaded up. I am no Bill Gates when it comes to computers! I think that I have followed the instructions...but have nothing to show for it. HELP!

This is my 2004 Monster 620ie. As you can see...it is stock standard at the moment.
Some new slip on mufflers are first on my list of mods.
Cheers Gazza

Hey Craig, thanks for the welcome mate.
You're right mate . It is a good blank canvas. I will personalise it a
A bit for sure. I am thinking slip on Mufflers to start with.
At the moment, i am thinking "Termi's" like yours or maybe the
Standard configuration lower mufflers. I have also seen a utube clip
of some oval shaped
"Staintune" mufflers which sound very cool too.
What is it like living day to day with the "Termis"?
I like the chopped tail look of yours too. I think there is a kit that can be bought
To get it looking naked and neat.
Any suggestions would also be welcome, i am new at this.
Cheers Gazza
