Ok... So my cored factory pipes are gone... they were awesome, really loud...
Now I need to know, what is the best option for a similar sound?
I like the look of low mounts or nothing at all... In my mind my choices are termi low mounts of an Ex Box system, can anyone shed light on how these will sound on my 620?
My old pipes were pretty loud, people would always ask, "was your bike always this loud?"
loud is good, any advice?
My only thoughts are that you should make an exhaust that belches flames constantly. It'll keep people awake and hopefully, off of you.
Lethe has an ExBox on his 620. Sounds pretty sweet. I'm sure he'd answer any questions you have. If he doesn't chime in here, just PM him.
Also: Boom Tubes. If you can find em.
I have the LeoVince EVOII low mounts on my 620. They have baffles that you can remove to increase the sound. The bike is loud and sounds killer! I'd look into LeoVince as it is a high quality product and bolts right on with no other adjustments needed.

Yeah, apparently the last one wasn't loud enough to keep the dummy awake... I like the flames idea, there was this awesome pic a while back that I found of this guy shooting flames from an exhaust and it looked killer... I will try to dig for it!
THIS is the exhaust I need!!!

Can you, actually everyone, provide links to the products? I am not familiar with all the lingo...
I remember liking the Sil Megaphones but I'd need to paint them black, are those loud???
remus/DP are pretty dang loud...
I've seen and heard the ex box set up on a 695 and it looks and sounded great.
I love the way it clears up the back of the bike so you can see everything better.

They look great but seem a bit too high pitched from what I remember, almost too ricey for a Ducati.

MIVV is just another manufacturer. MIVV cans on PJs parts (http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=24_32_227_82) - I think Moto Wheels is stocking Mivv pipes too.
megas tend to be loud - just remember that most of what is on the market is coming with (easily removed) BD killers installed
i have the X-box on my s2r1k. sounds great.
One of the loudest bikes I've heard was a 620 w/ D&Ds, esp on decelleration. It would make your ears bleed! :-\ It was way over the top IMO but if you want loud, check them out.

i love the sound from my Spark high mounts. i picked them up from Desmoworld in Germany--a sponsor on the previous board. you can check them out here: www.desmoworld.com
i actually find the site a bit difficult to navigate so i made my purchase by PM-ing Chris. you can also try emailing: info@desmoworld.de

Sil Megaphone lo mount = loud.
IZ has a 620 w/Sil megaphones and I have a 900 with megaphones.
Bwoooaaahhh... Really deep tone, but not really raspy.
D&Ds are by far the loudest (not necessarily the best sounding though...) pipes.
No pipes would definitely be loudest, or maybe get some tips like NAKID (Motocreations Boomtubes?).
