As there is no subforum for northern Florida I'm dropping this here.
I need to move my mother from Starke, FL to the Gainesville area. I don't have a lot of time to be out there and she won't be much help in moving heavy/bulky items. That's why I'm soliciting help. I need someone to help me load everything onto the truck in Starke.
I don't suppose anyone is from the area and can lend a hand in return for money, beer, small mammals, etc.
I'm trying to pack up the truck on Mon, Feb 10 so I can get her into the new place on Feb 11.
I am hoping to have most of it in boxes by that morning, but some packing help might be required.
My other option is hiring the helpers through U-Haul.
Please let me know if you can help.
Thanks travis

Jud is in the area and what's left of the CDC is still relatively active there. I'll post in the FB group to see of anyone is willing to help

Thanks Carlos.
Trav....wild idea....wasn't your dad (an officer) in USAF?
There's an AFROTC chapter at UFla - perhaps contact them and see if some of the cadets will volunteer to come out to help the son of one of their fellow fliers.
Or, maybe another 'do good' frat there?
Good luck, Gene
Gene, dad was army.
I have also found that money is a greater motivator. Lol
