Title: Gilles rearsets question
Post by: muskrat on February 23, 2014, 09:42:24 PM
I have an 06 S4R with the Gilles rearsets.  I want to change the pegs to something like vortex.  Does anyone have any idea what size they are?  They bolt from the back and I've been to lazy to take them off and measure plus the Gilles customer service in France appears to be on vacation going on two months.
Thanks.

I have Gilles rearsets on one of my Bandits.  I'd think all the footpegs are secured with the same fastener size/pitch (I'm pretty sure they're M8x1.25).

I can check for you after work.

One-thousand apologies Muskrat!

The bolt on my Gilles-Tooling rearsets is an Allen countersunk head M8x1.25 bolt with the threaded shaft length of 35mm.  From the rear, it goes through the shifter lever and into the peg mount.
