Kellermann Bar End Signal BL 1000 LED Dark (http://www.kellermann-online.com/en/produkte/detail/110.200) - will they fit my M695? Sent an email to a seller, can't wait for answer! ;D
They are advertised including parts for 11,5 - 24mm inner diameter.
However, as far as I can see they aren't LED, if that matters.
Go with the Oberons. They are incredibly nice, bright and durable. They are also very easy to take apart and soldier new wires on if needed. [bang]
stopintime they do say they're LED here: https://secure.partsworldshop.com/abashop?s=74&p=productdetail&sku=32850
Buck I like these better cos they're just a little shorter, and the light is a full ring around, vs front and back... maybe I'm picky!
I just wonder about this: "Attention-required accessories at 21W original flash rate: 1 x load independent relay (K123970), or 1 x per indicator à resistor 7.5 ohms (K123952) - (so that the flashing frequency is right!) "
Ok, the BL2000 seems to be LED (not the 1000 you mentioned first)
Yes, you'll need a pair of resistors to keep the blinking rate stock.
Sorry was typo on my part - both are the 2000 model.
Resistor huh? Might need to call a friend on that one...
No need for resistors - just swap your current flasher/relay for a Norvita EP35 or another one that is LED compatible.
Does the 695 have a flasher relay? I thought the newer Monster's had the relay built into the ECU or gauges and therefore not swappable? I'm happy to be proved wrong as I would love to change mine on the 1100S.
Possibly the *new* new gen Monsters...the injected Monsters from 02-07 show either a 4 or 5 pin relay in addition to the starter relay. Perhaps someone could pop their seat off, have a look, and listen to whether or not it clicks while the turn signals are flashing.
I actually was curious enough to do some Googling, and it seems perhaps the 08> models do indeed control the flash chore via the ECU, and found some anecdotal forum statements regarding it being possible to actually program it accordingly to accept the LED current load. Pretty cool but since I don't have one I lost interest in pursuing the wherewithal.
suzyj had posted a while back that the dashboard needed modification to normalize the blinking rate on an M695.
