Post by: oznc on May 06, 2014, 06:04:48 PM
Hey Guys,

Just finished installing the Oxford heated grips on the 1100 and have written up the process with pics and now finally a video of the grips working with surface temp measurements.

Blog with video.

Ok so finally had a few days of riding to evaluate the grips.
100% will melt your hands off so only good for fast warm up.
Once warm on a cold day 40% is plenty. Not so cold 30%
The 5 increments are actually really handy (no pun intended). They are each noticeably different but not massive jumps. I can see each being used as the weather gets cooler. A low, medium and hi would have been enough I think but this lets you find a perfect level.
Cheers.

They make 3 different grip styles. I went with touring.
