Title: '12 796 SSS on my 08 S2R ???
Post by: dholbrook on June 08, 2014, 11:24:13 AM
I saw a great deal on a parted out 2012 796 that I was hoping to swap it's SSS onto my 2008 S2R1000.  Is it a direct swap?  Just needs bushings and spacers?  Too complicated and not even close?  Thanks for your advise!

I believe the shock setup is completely different on the newer monsters.  Don't think it would work without major modifications.

Thanks for the info and agreeing!  I'll be powder coating my own swingarm then.

Thanks
