Title: Dainese Cafe Boots
Post by: The ModFather on July 16, 2014, 08:50:15 PM
Anyone try these out? I think they look great and I'm tired of wearing my Racing Boots under Jeans when attending all day bike events. These would be great.

I tried a pair on along with the v twin. They both felt nice, and are perfect for off bike stuff. I needed more of a touring boot and chose the night hawk because they are a bit beefier and are gor-tex.

I wouldn't be a fan of riding with laces exposed.

There was an article referring to motorcycle accident injury statistics in Australia some 2 or so years ago. It clearly stated that in the accidents studied the rider with laced shoes/boots had suffered significantly worse injuries than those whose footwear didn't use laces. They said even motorcycle boots were an issue not just runners or shoes. I immediately upgraded and have worn non lace footwear since.

This statistic was before the Double Knot was introduced to Australia.
