Title: Sticky horn button solved
Post by: memper on July 20, 2014, 02:09:59 PM
Couldnt stand my sticky horn button anymore so I rerouted the wires to the headlight "flash" button thats near the clutch lever. Now when I honk it feels like Im shooting cagers with a sound blaster. Meep! Meep!

Sorry no pics because, well, it all looks the same as it did before....

Did you swap the wires? I've always liked having that flash trigger, I use it for (probably a false) sense of security when approaching intersections with those creeper cagers.

Yep. Just opened the housing, cut and capped the flasher wires, and soldered on the horn wires. However, I did have to lengthen the positive lead an inch or two. Hardest part was the soldering. I needed a third hand.
