awwe man.. so will buell still be a red-headed stepchild for HD? or will both of them be?
and $109M? $70M of that was debt....damn. i feel badly for MV...but as long as it allows them to keep making bikes i suppose.
Well, there goes MV Agusta. Bet Eraldo Ferracci is not happy. >:(
When TPG bought Ducati they paid for Castiglioni's debt. Now HD is doing the same for his debt on MV. Funny how he remains Chairman of the board but thankfully not CEO or CFO. If Tamburini were not so close to the Castiglioni brothers he should have stayed at Ducati back in '96.

Here is the deal.... HD wants to build Harleys in Europe.... Do you start a new powerplant or you buy an existed one in the heart of Europe? HD Doesnt really care about MV Agustas and Cagivas.. (Both Brands have just 4 basic models on their lineup anyway) The big money maker for Castillioni was Husqvarna and they already sold it to BMW...
Now Harley can have an assembly line in Europe so they dont have to pay import taxes to EU.... ;)
Weren't they sniffing around Ducati recently for the same reason?
