Apparently they felt good with the way that Yonny has been going this year on last year's bike. With HRC learning their lesson about about selling an underpower "open" class bike, it won't be as easy for Ducati next year to fielding the current bike. Avintia really wasn't going anywhere with the Kawi and they probably can't afford a Yamaha or Honda. Has anyone heard if Suzuki will have a satellite team?

7th?  That's a bit optimistic?

You can field all the bikes you want but if they don't work right you're just burning gas and consuming tires.
