Title: 11 Monster 796 Pressure plate
Post by: chaldoking on August 01, 2014, 05:12:28 PM
I just bought the ducabike clear clutch cover and the ducabike pressure plate for my 11 m796. When I get ready to install the new pressure plate do the springs need to torqued down at a certain amount? How many foot pounds do the springs need to be torqued dawn?

5Nm, I believe.  Which equates to 3.7 foot pounds.

4.42 inch lbs. = 5Nm., you will not find a ft lb torque wrench that is accurate that low.

Screwdriver tight is fine,

I a torque wrench with inch lbs. That should work right? 5nm = 44.2 in lbs if I'm not mistaken.
