Its turned out to be a great platform and lots of fun! the parts list and custom work is extensive. Allot of time went into it but I love it! If theres any interest I can post about whats been done... but I thought I'd share some pics..

Sheet! That is how I wanted my last monster to look! Instead I got a Bimota.......
I'd love to do something like this with my EVO, but at the end of the day I'd never push it hard because I'd be too scared of dropping it. Crash my GSXR-750 and I know it will be cheap to fix, not so the Duc.
Very cool! [thumbsup] [thumbsup] Looks fantastic!
What does it weigh, what class is it eligible for, and is it competitive?

Thanks! I race CCS so the bike is legal for any of the lightweight classes, and of course you can always race UP. Basically I compete against SV650's, Air cooled Buell's, and other Ducati Air cooled bikes. SC, SS. Its very competitive in the all the LW catagories... in lightweight superbike stock it has about the same HP as a built SV. In the Supersport catagory I have a power advantage over all but the Buells, and 1 over Ducati's again im totally stock motor which is part of why I got it I wanted a reliable platform.. im not 100% sure what the wet weight is but I can find out. As far as actual competition Its taken me to a new fastest lap from where I was on my old SV with more time to gain that I can easily see. Ive dropped 1 second a weekend every weekend. Im trying to be methodical about how im gaining speed and decreasing laptimes, safely. I dont want any setbacks or cosly repair due to a "rushed effort" I can see dropping another full second easily, maybe 2 then it will be pinching a little here a little there...Basically I have 2 more weekends up here in the NE to try and drop some time before the weather changes, hoping for good weather!

Very cool, thanks for the info. I figured you were racing against SVs...glad to hear it is competitive and good luck to you!
Looks great! Monsters look oddly great when you slap a fairing on them. How involved was putting the fairing on? Good luck at Loudon!
That is a beautiful bike. I do agree, that it does look rather good with fairings on...odd for a naked bike ;D
What is the exhaust? My buddy, nick Rockwell did something similar with an 09 1100, using panigale race body and a fabricated aluminum tank cover.
How can I post pics here from my phone?
