Title: How much did you get your 696 out the door?

just wanted to know how much you guys got your 696's out the door?  What 's a good price?  Thanks. [popcorn]

My dealer charged MSRP + tax and license fee.  No setup fee, doc fee or even freight.

after taxes, title, all that jazz.... plus a sweet jacket and some new gloves around 9600
happy with it considering that msrp + tax would be about 9300

not bad considering the poor dollar.
even better when considered against the 10,500 that some folks have quotes in other threads

North of 10k is normal. If you're not charged for freight and setup, then that's a good deal.

Extended Warranty until 2014

Tire disposal? I only get charged that when I buy new tires and they keep the old ones.

Subtract the extended warranty and add $1600 for Termis, rear stand, and cover and I was almost $12,000 out the door! [bang]

Yeah, that's why I bought an R6 a few months ago. $9500 OTD.

I'm waiting for the 1098 Monster for the next Duc.

Nah - those southerners (= anything from Massachusetts on down) are tax-crazy! They've got a state income tax in Delaware.

Patience is a virtue guys. Let someone else take the depreciation hit for you. I bought my 05 S2R 800 in May 2007 for $6250 from a really nice guy in Sacramento. Bike had 12xx miles on it.

I bought my '04 S4R in '06 (8 miles on it) for $10,300.

Walk into a Duc dealer in OZ, You pay retail/list price, thats it.. No negotiating, if your lucky they may look after you on some riding gear but thats it  [bang]
