Bought my Monster already chopped. 50K Miles later it has given up hope of being a garage queen
or a fair weather bike. If you've ridden on a dirt road in hard rain or tried to escape home during
mud season you'll understand.
I was leery of having welding done on the bike plus there was some re-wiring involved (and I'm a cheap bastard)
so to attach the tail, I used some closet shelving hanger mounts that I hammered down to fit as tension pins
inside the frame pieces.
Then secured with 2 strips of pipe hangers.
Penny Tech at it's finest.
My Rizoma directionals don't match up perfect, I'll get around to getting them mounted flush eventually.
The top box I occasionally carry will be easier to get open without a pound of grit stuffed into the lock.
Thanks Speeddog for the tail.

Also Just recently added plug for a heated vest I picked up used (BMW):

And to keep track of the electrical system (I've also got heated grips and heated gloves, not sure if I dare all three together)
Doesn't look too cheesy, I like to keep my best penny-tech out of sight.

The voltage indicator + heated gloves hare always a good mod [popcorn] [thumbsup]
Reminds me of Nibor's bike with the bark busters.
