Title: Zen and the Art of Balance
Post by: IZ on October 09, 2014, 06:03:47 AM
My son and I have been wanting to try slack lining since we've been hanging out at Muscle beach every weekend for the past year.  The Santa Monica slack line park (shown below) is located just a few feet from our " camp" so we get to watch these monkeys jump around all day.

REI had the Gibbon Jib line for only $85.  Not a bad price!  Plus, the line can be installed just about anywhere.  We've been taking it the local park with sand on the ground.  It's a fun sport but there's definitely a whole lot of falling involved.

Any other slack line/trick line fans out there?

Does being labeled a slacker by ones parents count?

I have alerted C.P.S. to your desire to train your child to be a slacker.

Those things re pretty cool,  If I already had children and never thought I would need my man parts again I would give it a shot......   ;D

My son is in gymnastics so I'm hoping this will help with the exercises he's doing there.

Speaking of "parts" though..watch the end of this one.

Don't think I can do that kind of thing. I'll leave it for the young ones.
