It must be droid biased.
:D
Im in too. [thumbsup]
Wow, pretty cool!
Unfortunately, I think I'm getting too old for displays that small. My older iPod Nano now drives me nuts because of its small size.

You should go down and check one out when they have them. My eyes aren't totally bad yet but I have trouble reading stuff that is too small. But i can see the Nano screen. I just bought it though, not sure if it's different than the older nano or not.
I guess so. Here is an older one.

There are three different watches in two different sizes, multiple bands etc. one of them is 18k gold. I think they will start around $400.

PASS.
In a funny way that watch makes sense. Makes far more sense than people wearing watches when they are also carrying smart phones. I stopped wearing a watch years ago as I always have one in my pocket and dislike redundancy.

Yes exactly. ^^^^^
i didn't even want one of these things until I saw the video.
But i'm still waiting for my jet pack....
I'm holding out for the Johnny Sokko droid version.
Giant Robot sold separately.
I am far from an Apple fan. In fact I recently cooked up and served an Apple Fan boy to my wolf. I am also considering a writing new title for the relationship category called. "Men are PC's and Women are Macs".
That Apple watch However? It is pretty damn elegant. Much nicer than the communicator in Dick Tracy which btw, would only fit in at a Steampunk convention these days.
While I am incredibly disappointed that it is almost 2015 and I still do not have a flying car; I have to admit that communication technology these days is making the stuff from the science fiction of my childhood, look like antiques......

Why wait for that when you could get one of these as soon as yesterday?

I already have a watch. I 'want' a new gadget. ;)

Available to order, but I need to see the 2 sizes on my wrist first. I'm going with the space gray and the sport band, can't wait.
I kind of want one as well. It's part of the reason I went with the iPhone 6 and ditched the tracfone.
I'm around 90 days with the watch. I dig this thing the most. I went with the sapphire crystal.
This year I'm switching back to an iPhone. Next year I might look at getting the watch.
My enthusiasm for the watch has cooled off somewhat. But Im not opposed to getting one at some point.

Why did you switch from the iPhone, and what did you switch to? What made you decide to switch back, if you don't ming my asking.

I moved to a Samsung Galaxy. I wanted to give it a try considering the reviews. It's great if you want to customize the hell out of it or are the type of person that prefers to jail break the iPhone because it's to restrictive. For me, the iPhone does the basics better. I do not have any app installed on my Galaxy that I could not find on iTunes. The only thing that my phones does better than my wife's iPhone 5 is reception. When we're driving out in the boonies, the iPhone loses signal quicker. Of course that's also on a phone that was at least 1 year older than my Galaxy.
And notice that my wife's iPhone was already 1 year older than my Galaxy and I still preferred the iPhone.
Thanks for the insight. I asked because I hear about people switching phones all the time, but for me the cloud, with it's calendars, contacts, backup, ect would make me want to stick with one system. Thats one of the reasons I got so pissed when HP dropped Palm. It used to be the cats pajamas. When the stopped supporting it, there was no converting the 10 years worth of stuff I had without doing it all manually. I kept the phone in a drawer for reference but finally, I just had to give all that info the "heave ho" and start from scratch.
Anyway, we went down the Apple road partly for ease of use, and partly because of iTunes, and the iPods we had. Then it morphed into getting actual phones, a mac, TV, more iPads and so on.
So to me, all the debate about which phone is better overlooks the question about "What else you got, besides a phone?" What I usually hear though is a bunch of strangers on the internet slamming each other about their phone choices.

What do you like about it? I've considered one but if I have to have my phone for it to work why not just look at my phone? Also, I like nice watches (I remember you do as well) and can't see putting a "real" watch in the safe to wear a cheap looking watch unless the stuff it does is so life changing it's worth it. So what features do you use frequently? What makes it great?
Most folks have their phone in their pocket, it beeps or whatever annoying make the beast with two backsing tone they have. Most times you pull it out look at it and put it away, unless it's urgent. With the watch it pulses on my wrist, I glance at it, and ignore or answer. I use the make the beast with two backs out of Siri, and more so with the watch. Text Dave, call Steve etc., etc. I don't use the phone now unless I have to type a long text. There are several pre-set responses you can use if you don't want to use Siri. I use the calendar a lot, the weather and google maps. While driving I can answer the phone with my hands on the steering wheel if I have to take a call.
I can see myself using this on a bike when trying t follow directions. No need to mount the phone on the bike, just a quick glance and it vibrates when you need to turn.

I don't think the haptic strength is enough to feel on a Moto. I'll have to check it out.
