Title: Hi all, new to the forum (Bay Area)
Post by: Nozz848 on October 29, 2014, 12:58:44 PM
Hi all,

My name is Mike and I am from the SF bay area. My '08 848 was totaled while sitting in a parking spot in SF ( sideswiped :( ) and I have been without a Duc for jut over a year until I picked up a 2007 695 with just under 4000 miles on it from a friend of mine earlier this year.  Looking forward to getting back into riding and meeting everyone.

Bike(s):
Past -
2001 Red 996 - Sold in 2008
2008 Red 848 - Read above :,(

Current -
1983 Honda 650 SC - Cafe project
2007 M695

How long you've been riding - Dirt since I was 7 (1992) street since I got my license at 16

Anything else you'd like to share - Always looking for ways to make my bike stand out and learn from the experience of others.  Not sure of all of the quirks/complaints with the M695s yet but I have been doing my research. Thank you in advance for any/all help in the future.

what's going on man

got me a 695 myself for just over a year ago

other than the swelling gas tank issue and the bike running a bit lean
i think it's good to go

happy riding man!
