Post by: Roy on July 12, 2008, 11:37:13 PM
Any recommendations for good online stores for Leather Jackets, Sidi boots and Arai helmets?

Thanks for the help!

http://www.motonekoparts.com/

I've gotten a few things from them for cheaper than I could find anywhere else.

Check out www.sportbiketrackgear.com they have both Arai and Sidi.  They are great to work with and prices are low and you usually don't have to pay shipping.

Hate to say, i'm an ebay geek.  Tend to buy from dealers that list their overstocks and such.  Honda East Toledo has amazing deals on lots of stuff.  They have a stand alone web site, but I can't remember the name.

The one time I had an issue with a flyscreen I had purchased through ebay  from Honda East Toledo (it was missing 4 foam washers) I called - they said ok - then sent an ENTIRE new assembly, windshield and all!

I just purchased a full set of dirbike gear for my 13 year old daughter through ebay for $154.00 shipped!  All brand new gear except for boots that were slightly used - wanted them broken in instead of stiff.

Otherwise, www.newenough.com gets my vote, too!

Thanks again everyone;  I ended up ordering an arai rx7 corsair from an ebay "power seller" today.  I've never purchased anything on ebay before so I hope everything goes well...I also ordered an Alpinestars RC-1 Leather Jacket directly from Alpinestars.  I tried to find that jacket at a couple of the online stores you all mentioned but they either didn't have my size or didn't have that jacket in stock.

Thanks for all the help!   [thumbsup]

I've always liked helmetharbor for helmets. They've got good customer support and some good reviews of their products.

Scary cheap stuff here. Havent had the scones to actually buy anything from them but I'll bet some of the manufacturers they sell also are re-branded by some more well known outfits, especially the helmets. Some of the graphics look familiar.
