A mich better rendition.

+1 [evil]
I like the turn signals on the first bike. Little wing looking blade things.

I would give my left nut for that bike. So lovely! So perfect! [thumbsup] [drool]

Yeah... That was a FUN build. Bike rode like a Cadillac's wet dream, pulled like a steam locomotive and sounded like a Top-Fuel dragster...
Wouldn't change a thing on that bike. Beautiful!

and then sadly parted out IIRC. :'(

I remember some of the good bits replaced with normal stuff, then the whole bike sold.
It just looks like a completely diff bike without the gold Ohlins R&T forks...gold Marchesini's.. CC clip ons...feels like something else is missing too... ???

Alth rotors, gold 999 calipers...
and it's soul.
It DOES look "soulless"! Weird...
I can't understand why anyone would partially part this bike out then sell it off. I have a pretty good guess as far as what kind of coin went into building it and it's likely WAY more than they got back. Just knowing what I have in my 944 ...they took a bath. That's a bike you keep till ya croak unless you have way too much disposable income.
^^^^ You answered your own question.
Seeing that bike was a pleasure. One of the prettiest 900's I have seen. Yup, she has been killed.

Where did you see it in person?
Only the pics on the site. Should have said one of the best I have seen in pictures, lazy typist sometimes.

I was just curious. Before I sent it back east from CA, it did a short tour around SF and LA showing it off a few times. I really do need to get all my old photos off of my desktop PC before it just dies...

I have a few from LDD '07 but they are more of snap shots if anything.
