I just received my belly pan from a guy on ebay and I got a picture for you all to see.

I thought one was suppose to stick on a thermal barrier to keep the CF from toasting.
It has a thermal barrier on the business side of it I just didn't snap a pic of that.
Ah! Carry on my good sir!

I believe that is mounted incorrectly. I checked through pictures of similar pans and it seems yours is mounted way too low. I predict it is going to scrape while riding at that height. I had purchased the same style one a while ago for my S2R 800 and had problems with the mounting points as I believe it is meant for the older Monster mounting points.

Well its as high as it will go with the udder there. And I was looking and I can get it a little higher but I'll have to do some trimming. And I checked out motowheels website and it said that this belly pan, would mount to my monster
And I just measured it I have a good 6 to 7 inches of space underneath before anything hits.

Correct.
Both of my stock headers have scrapes from previous owners bottoming out on things. A speed bump would likely be a bad experience.
Looking at the bottom of the belly pan, you should see the x pattern for the older style headers which go on the left and right side of the bike instead of the S2R right side stacked exit.
Well I guess I'll go to modifying it so it'll fit up higher.
It should just be the udder area that's messing it up.
I don't think it's made for the '100' :D
I absolutely agree...anything can be made to work...that's what makes things unique. I was just advising against riding it the way it was mounted as it would likely result in damage to the new piece if not more due to scraping. I ended up returning mine as the modifications needed were pretty extensive if I remember, including creating a mounting point on the left side of the bike that the S2R models didn't have.
No I completely understand. Thanks for looking out :) I appreciate it and I'll go look at it today and do some trimming and I'll post another pic when I finish :)
Don't forget to wear a mask when cutting it or sanding it. CF is nasty on the lungs.
