So I have apex adjustable clips ons and I want to run a bar end mirror on the left side to make the bike legal. I have ebay bar end mirrors.. can I use this to make them work with my new apex clip ons?

Specifically, which bar end mirrors do you have?
Jeff might confirm, but I'd say yes [thumbsup] (measurements seems ok)(if the mirror is 22 mm)
(I wouldn't fit bar ends on clip ons - your eyes will have to 'travel' too far away from traffic IMO)(if my opinion matters [roll] )
Well I got my mirror working actually. I took the aluminum shims that came with both mirrors and I stacked them on one mirror and now it tightens down enough to stay in place. But what would you recommend for mirrors with clip ons exactly?

If it was for style only... 1. no mirrors 2. bar ends under the bars 3. bar ends
Mirrors are one of the features where I won't completely sacrifice function for style, but I try to limit myself to just mention it when people ask. Best function is with large convex mirrors mounted fairly close to your face (wide angle), just far enough apart to allow a good rear view and high enough to make it easy to switch from forward to rearward view.
This 'best function' idea is good, but very few riders will accept mirrors like that.... so it boils down to how much compromise we're willing to do.
i got a set on my bike, aluminum rhizome style with barrens, and mirrors.
heres a pic.
im so used to bar end mirrors I've had them on like 10 bikes already, I'm never going back to looking at my shoulders anymore. its the best thing you can do to actually see something.
i had a set of rhizome $300 mirrors, while they looked cool, they were tiny as fk and couldn't see a damn thing out of them.
the way i mounted mine is pretty simple, they are jammed between bar end and the handlebar itself. mine are already threaded for barrens, so if yours are not then that might work.
