Title: Got a Power commander autotune for M1100 Evo - AFR questions
Post by: EEL on December 03, 2014, 10:45:10 AM
The autotune AT-300 is on order but I wanted to know what the AFR ranges should be. Does anyone have experience with this.

From a general web search people are saying lean (er) at low RPMS and richer at you go up the RPM, throttle position.

My question is what AFR's should I start with? 13.2? 13.6?

Could use input from those who have already done this.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I already know about removing the O2 sensors and exhaust servo motor. I got that stuff dialed in. The rexxer reflash will happen first. My main focus is the design of a good AFR table for the autotune.

or... you could use the search function  ;D

some light reading on the very subject here >> http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=42213.0 (http://www.ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=42213.0)

I experimented with a variety of AFR tables before finally settling on this one  >>  https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8GYk44zAjpmZGRiZjJkZmItZTIyZC00MTkzLTlkZjAtNjRhYTliOTA0ZTYy/edit?hl=en_US&pli=1 (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8GYk44zAjpmZGRiZjJkZmItZTIyZC00MTkzLTlkZjAtNjRhYTliOTA0ZTYy/edit?hl=en_US&pli=1)

Works really well  [thumbsup]

Hope that helps some.

woot..

Thats what I needed.

So just to bounce the idea off you.

I’m going to have motowheels flash the ECU with open airbox and slipon exhaust profile and use the PC-V to lean out the mixture for the interim. Currently the bike is running stock cans and stock airbox and will stay that way until I get the my old bike sold.

All these fueling changes eat up a lot of my budget so the performance mods (MWR power up kit and shift stage 2 slip on) will have to come later. I didn’t want to leave the ECU as a stock map primarily because if for some reason the power commander takes a crap while I’m riding, the ECU map should be able to get me home.

My mods will catch up to the fueling at a later date and I'll use the autotune to bride the gap.
