Title: Power Commander V (PC-V) Location Monster 1100 EVO
Post by: EEL on December 16, 2014, 07:57:51 AM
Now that my old S2R 800 is up for sale, I'm starting work on the new project bike, my 2012 Monster 1100 Evo

Aside from the valves and belts I also intent to install a power commander V with autotune

Any suggestions on where I can physically install these? Since I will be using an autotune system, I want everything as accessible as possible. Unlike my old bike, this tank doesnt hinge up.

Any ideas? Would like some input from those who have performed this mod already on a newer 1100 motor. I'm assuming there wont be that much difference between a monster 1100 and a monster 1100 evo.

Thanks in advance!

Mine is mounted on top of the ECU.... a fly USB lead to the Autotune module.

No airbox gives me a little more lebensraum under there... but regardless it's a workable location IMO.

I've mounted mine in the tool tray. The tool pack was missing from my bike when I bought it used so it made for the perfect  location.

Hmm. I dont think I have a tool pack.  That area might be taken up by the Servo motor on the evo. That said, the Servo motor will be gone soon since I just my ecu rexxer flashed
