Title: Bought a 696 to go with my Diavel
Post by: TXSailor on January 30, 2015, 05:04:15 PM
Hi guys.  Just picked up an '09 696 to add to the Ducati "stable".  I have a 2012 Diavel and a 2006 Harley as well.
Been riding for over 50 years and still love it!!!.  Since I'm retired, I ride every day....

Welcome TX.
It's a great international community here. Cheers.
Nice stable of bikes you got. What type of Harley btw?

The Harley is a 2006 Softail Deluxe however you'd not know that by looking at it.  I have Road King Bags, Full Fairing, lowers and a Tour Pak for it.  A quick glance and it looks like a Street Glide when the trunk & Lowers are not on it otherwise it looks like an Ultra!!!

Sounds like you got all bases well covered.  [thumbsup]
I guess the Devil bike takes over cruising duties (power cruising) adding a new dimension there and freeing the Harley for full touring duties.
I've owned a few Harleys back in the day. The Monster must feel agile ay? I nearly crashed off the inside of a turn first ride of an  M900 after getting off my FXR. [laugh]
