In attempting- unsuccessfully- to locate the flasher unit on my '01 M900, I came across a socket connector with nothing plugged into it (that grey thingie is the middle of the photo).

Any ideas what that is or where the real flasher unit is hiding?
Also, what's the general opinion about swapping out the Ducati quick-connects for something more user-friendly, such as spade-types?
Is it a tail light bulb holder?
An as for the connectors I think if it ain't broke don't fix it!
Little grey thing: license plate bulb socket
Changing out the connectors? If you're going to do it, either properly crimp or solder the ends. Otherwise, I'd leave the OE connectors.
Where is the flasher? Either under the seat (which it is not), or under the tank.
Thank you. I bought an EL-12 last night, but it's cylindrical, so I guess that's not it. I'm returning it & will ride without signals for now.
Sitting in front of my house, that Duc might be mistaken for a lawn ornament if it doesn't move.
