I saw one of these in person today. Wasn't sure if it looked more like a Chrysler Pacifica or an Airstream camper.

I wanted to ask the poor bastard riding (driving?) it if he lost a bet.
They had that bike on Discovery Channel "How It's Made" - that thing is a f-n elephant. [puke]
What was that episode like? "First, this blender gets raped by a Sherman tank..."

Man, that thing looks worse than those Legacy Motorcycles w/ automatic transmission.
Almost a Goldwing!

I think that was the point of the bike
Scary part here in Australia, The market has gone Insane for them, they launched them at a national rally for the over 45's motorcycle club (ulysses MC Club) and they went nuts over them, Dealers from all over Australia are trying to get them.
And I thought we had taste in this Country [puke]

It's retribution for sending us Paul Hogan.
I saw one at the local victory dealer when they first came out. It's a beast. I'm not a very big guy (5'10" 210#) but I was afraid to even throw a leg over. I wasn't sure I could hold it up if it suddenly started to list.
But hey, if you do a lot of long distance touring, I'm sure it's fabulous. I'd love to draft behind one.

The Elefant is a very cool bike! How can you compare the two?!!!
We saw one of these things on the road a couple weeks ago, and Judy beat me to the punch - 'That thing is the most hideous thing I have ever seen! Who would want one of those?!!!"
Monsterlover and I saw one in Erie at a show a couple weeks ago. For the radical departure of normal design, I think its cool. I like things that are different. I wouldn't own one though.

Yeah, Um, sorry about that..... :-[
I bet no one will back into that thing when its parallel parked [roll]
But,,,,, I was by a dealer the other day saw the Vision but feel in love with an "8 Ball".
Arlen ness exhaust black on black on black,, inverted forks.
Was badddd I want one to ride drunk on..just kidding ,,ohhh to haul drunk chicks on ,, now there is a plan...
Dave
I was actually pretty impressed with the Vision. My coworker got one back in October when they first came out and now my landlord as well as Carl Edwards (the nascar guy, he lives here in Columbia) have one. I'm pretty sure it's a love hate thing. They ride well and have a surprising amount of ground clearance as well as having the lowest seat of any bike in that class. The saddle area is by far the most comfortable I've ever sat in and his wife has actually fallen asleep on the back. I'm not saying it's my cup of tea but it's a pretty sweet bike nonetheless. I'm a fan of the Vic Hammer actually. With a little bit of fender modding and some performance parts, those things can be pretty ballsy looking. Hell, if I had a spare 15 large lying around (after the Monster, of course) I'd def spring for a Victory.
I have yet to see one in person. Maybe because they don't do twisties . [laugh] I think that if I had to do much highway riding I would probably enjoy one of those big ole Eldorados w/ the top down so to speak two wheelers. That's what they remind me of ....The biggset Cadillac Eldorado convertibles from the late '70s or '80s.
Some day my body isn't going to beable to do Ducatis and I'll still want to ride and then it 's got to be comfort baby.

Actually, they're not too bad in the twisties either. I mean, you're not gonna drag knee but......
