Thanks for the compliment...powder coating was done by Charlies chop shop in Astoria queens.

He is very good owner name is charlie, very friendly very good...no complaints from me...they did parts for my R1 as well.

Then how does he get the rotor off when it needs to be changed?

actually, steel washers epoxied to the rotor mounting bolts would be sufficient. Just set them flush with the top of the bolt heads.
