If you you own an S2R1000 and your clutch master cylinder starts to leak, you'll soon find out that the cylinder is an odd size IE small and a service Kit is not available, and all the bike shops you try and Mr Brembo will tell you it was designed as a throw away item, so it appears your only option is to fork out a large amount of cash and replace it.
I flatly refused to do this !
A chance meeting with a customer of mine guided me to the following company :
Pacific Seals
Petone
Wellington
New Zealand
(I live in NZ)
They manufacture seals and when I told them I'd been told my cylinder was a throw away item they laughed!
I sent them the cylinder and they manufactured 2 X new seals for $25
each, including the postage my bike was back on the road for $60!
RESULT OR WHAT! ;D
They are great to deal with and as my bike has numerous cylinders 5 I think, I'll be calling them again when needed, the fridge magnet firmly in place!
My next post will outline how to ditch the over priced feeble clutch ducati make and replace with a decent one! Half the price that lasts twice as long!
Feedback on the above welcomed! 8)

New retail price (not from dealer) with lever and switch is not very expensive http://www.tawperformance.com/sport-bike-taw-performance/brembo-sportbike/brembo-sportbike-master-cylinders/brembo-sportbike-original-equipment-master-cylinders-1/brembo-sportbike-original-equipment-front-brake-master-cylinders/front-brake-master-cylinder-6652.html (http://www.tawperformance.com/sport-bike-taw-performance/brembo-sportbike/brembo-sportbike-master-cylinders/brembo-sportbike-original-equipment-master-cylinders-1/brembo-sportbike-original-equipment-front-brake-master-cylinders/front-brake-master-cylinder-6652.html) Shop around and you can find
them for around $110.
Roboflox is talking NZ$ id say not US.
Sounds like a good score to me
Howie, their dollar is even worse than ours. Good a local company is that versatile on low run products.
That does alter the equation.
