Title: Monsterlover tears apart a bathroom
Post by: Monsterlover on September 07, 2015, 01:23:19 PM
Finally got to working on this.

Leaks wrecked the floor and the ceiling directly below the leak.

Got the rot torn out yesterday. Just got back from home depot with a new toilet, flooring and miscellaneous bits and pieces.

Some more progress.

This is an old house that's not straight. There's no precision to anything so I'm kind of just winging it. It's a little strange.

I did the tiling in my bathroom once with similar footwear, I was wearing thongs. (aussie thong not US thong!!!)
A ceramic tile dropped of the wall and cut the tendon in my little toe. 2 nights in hospital would you believe!   [roll]

Not specifically but I did get a warning about the asbestos in the old tile, squeek sheet and black glue.

I had zero clue about this possibility.

I'm just here to help!

Y'all should call me before you start these projects.

Taught Lead awareness for 9 construction workers in a church that is under major renovation today. Was a mile from home.  [thumbsup]

Made some progress today.

Finally :P

Very happy with the way the floor under the toilet came out. Solid, and surprisingly close to the level of the existing floor.

Not just yet. I'm waiting for him to go up in value. Collectors will fight over this cat one day.

I'm not sure "appreciation" applies to cats.

...and you know if he's holding that end and mom is passing along the numbers for dad to cut...

he's moving the end to make the numbers wrong. ;)

Not quite on the first part.  She cuts her own.

Totally correct on the second part. He moves the tape all over because he's a jerk.

I still like him. He's just..

A cat. More so than our other cats. Those cats are cool all the time. Terry is only cool like 50% of the time.

The other 50% is spent getting sprayed by my air powered squirt gun because he was bad.

Or was about to be bad.

;D
