Don't get me wrong, the 4C is gorgeous. But the claim that it's the most affordable supercar? Disagree.

You can get a 2016 Corvette Stingray Z51 for a bit over $60k that beats the 4C in every performance category.

No doubt. You can also buy any number less expensive bikes that'll outperform a Monster.....but  :-*

True statement, but they also didn't advertise it as "the most affordable naked"...

They just call it white, they also have another called 'Madreperla' pearl white.

OK.

But.

Propelled by 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, the mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive 4C Spider goes from zero to 60 in 4.1 seconds and achieves a top speed of 160 mph.

That is way fast enough for public roads, and the Alpha looks a bit better than the stingray IMO.
Once you are talking about that kind of performance it starts getting academic.

On the other hand there are some other nice looking things out there like this.

The Jag cones as a coupe usually.

The Jag and Aston are indeed attractive.

Trouble is they're basically double the weight of the Alfa, and even though the Vette is closer, it's still quite a lot heavier.

IMO, the Vette, Aston, and Jag are GT's.
That Alfa is a Sports Car.

My GF had a BMW Z3 and then a Z4, that 200 kg difference was huge.

The 4C is better compared to the Elise. Lightweight sports cars.

I will say this, the F-Type is pretty much the only convertible I like.

I'm having a nice time with my old 380SL convertible, but its a completely different thing than what we are talking about here.

Parent's have a Z3.  It's a luxury adult go-cart.  Super snappy handling and all.  It even has the smallest motor available at the time and it's quite quick despite the HP and torque numbers not looking impressive.

It was a real sweet ride.
Given equal condition, the Z3 was the landslide winner over the Z4.
Mileage was taking it's toll, maintenance was getting oppressive and random no-response to throttle.... that was the last straw.

Two questions.
1) Are Alfas available in the US?
2) Do they do Euro deliveries?

Already have a hotel booked in Le Mans France, 17th thru 20th of June 2016 (24 hours of Le Mans  8))
Already know we will fly Condor's flight  Anchorage to Frankfurt. ICE train to ?
Last two cars were done on euro deliveries, the question this time around is Stuttgart, Munich, Ingolstadt or ??.

A couple of issues.
Closest dealer is in Seattle, bit of a drive from Soldotna AK......get the oil changed at the dealership by the time you got home it would almost be due again.
Didn't see anything on the website about Euro delivery. Too bad it looks like they're located on the outskirts of Milan, a short drive to Lake Como, a little more and you're in the Alps.
