If anyone needs repairs/service in the Las Vegas area I just want to share a quick story: I was changing the oil on the project monster 750 yesterday. The PO had tightened the drain sump and also the oil screen filter plug on the right side case so tightly the crush washers were badly deformed. Went up the street to cycle gear, went to Bellisimo-no washers to be had. Has not been a Ducati dealership here since Pat Clark Motorsports closed 4 or 5 years ago.
Called Mike, told him the problem, rode the 23 miles to his shop on the opposite end of the valley where he had 4 active projects going in various stages of repair plus a new multistrada 1200 outside the shop waiting for service for a customer. Mike stopped what he was doing, found some new washers and didn't want me to pay!!! (Left him $$$ for the beer fund anyway LoL)
Long story short, Mike Lancaster is a Stand Up Guy & he even gave me some advise about the ongoing little monster I am working on...
Now back to the shop to put some oil in it hahahaaa [drink]
Mike was my mechanic back when I lived in Vegas back in 2002. Great guy and Ducati mechanic. Glad to see he is still wrenching out there.
Good news story!
May his business prosper! ðŸ'ðŸ»ðŸ'ðŸ»
Haha Mike is a Gentleman & Mad Ducati Scientist...He is THE closest thing to dealer services for Ducatis since we don't have a dealership here since 2008 or 2009. If you need to reach him his email is desmomike@cox.net. Small world, huh??
Yep, that's the Mike I remember from when I lived out there in '02-04 and started riding.
He's built some mighty nice projects over the years! [thumbsup]

I spoke to Desmo Mike the other day (there are a couple of other mikes around town servicing ducatis) & let him know that his fans are out there....
