Would by chance a PCIII installed on top of the battery (as per PC instructions) give any clearance issues when gas tank is lowered ?
I have a PCIII on my battery - S2R800 - velcro to keep it from sliding around and secured by the rubber strap.
Can't imagine there being less space on a 620
Both plastic tanks?
steel?
A 2006 Monster 620 has a plastic tank.

I realize that.
The earlier bikes had steel, and you didn't say what year until now.
Isn't the pump flange directly above the battery?
No, the flange is directly behind the battery.

Then the PCIII should fit.

There may be a clearance issue with the under tank padding. On my S2R1000, I had to remove that to have enough room for the PCIII on top of the battery.

Mine is gone too [thumbsup]
Maybe not an issue on the 620, but if it is, remove it or cut an opening where the PCIII is.
PCIII did not fit in my S2R1000 in that location. I placed it in front of the batter behind the airbox (which now has PODS). I dont run a PCIII anymore.
Removed the padding from under the tank which is held in place by velcro, and now the PC has enough room.
