Can't wait to take it out and see what it'll do.
;D
No pic! :'(
Ghost bike?
I hate Picasa.
Let me try uploading it to Photobucket, if I can remember my account info to sign in.
If that doesn't work, maybe one of you two kids can help me out with some other ideas for your new-fangled techmologies?
Photobucket sucks too. Let's try Flickr...

Sweet!
Now that that's taken care of, it's time to put on a bunch of layers so I can go outside and roost some frozen dirt!

I think it was 28 when I posted that.
I know, I know. That's nothing to you northerners, but it's cold to me. ;D
Which one is that?
That is gonna be miles of smiles. [evil]

Yeah, my wife's been making fun of me because I'm grinning like a little kid when I come back inside from ripping around the back yard on it.

Yeah, I dig the hook that drops down and holds the bike in place. Pretty slick.

So, no electric start. Which means no battery in the airbox, better breathing, and more hp.
Lol, how's your health insurance?
Will it fit in a microwave oven?
I had another look at the pic!
I saw the price on the fuel bowser. Was that $32.80 for 20.774 gallons?
If so that's $32.80 for 78.63 liters.
If so that's only 43 ish US cents a liter.
That's about 61 AUS cents a liter.
If so, all I can say is blooming heck!
It's about $1.19 AUS / 0.84 US per litre here at the moment!
You lucky buggers! Lol!

My health insurance is very good. Haha
And I'm working on modding the microwave to run with the door open, so I can hold it up against the bike. ;D

Yeah.
Gas prices are really low here right now.
It wasn't long ago that they were more than twice what they are now, so that was about the same as what you guys are paying.
Who buys gasoline by the quart? ;D
[laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] I was thinking there was gonna be a quiz.

That's within pennies of what I'm paying here.
We're paying $1.79/US gallon, but it varies statewide.
$1.89ish for regular at the cheaper stations here, can be as high as $2.29. On the other hand, diesel can range from $2.29 to well over $4.00

Just paid 2.819 for premium here....
Seems fuel is always notably higher than the rest of the nation in California.

No shit! :D I've been learning Aussie speak from our forum friends here, and using it on rednecks in AL. It makes for some funny conversations. ;)
Today I learned that riding in the snow isn't nearly as much fun as I'd thought it would be.
The forward movement to noise made ratio is way too low. Maybe it's just because it's a really granular, icy snow. I don't know.

Not much. Maybe two inches.
But with some freezing rain mixed in, there's an ice shell over the top of it.

I tried riding my DR350 in Flagstaff a few times. I don't recall having much fun.

Afternoon! ðŸ'ðŸ»
Gas pump is what you'd hear most often in the US. People would know what you were talking about if you said fuel pump though.
Any idea how the term fuel bowser came to be? Is bowser a term that's used over there for other types of pumps as well?
A bowser is a tanker.

Howie is correct!
Bowser is also Aussie slang for a fuel pump at a petrol station.
From the Net:
1930-35; said to be after S.F. Bowser and Co., a Sydney manufacturer of gasoline and oil storage systems
