Title: Dirt Riding
Post by: mbalmer on July 17, 2008, 08:40:05 AM
Has anyone heard anything about Kevin Anderson's dirt bike camp? I thought it may be a fun way to get some different kind of riding experience. It's $250 for two days of instruction using their bikes and gear. I think it's a good price. Does anyone know about him and his camp?

I've never heard of it, probably pretty fun? Do they provide the bikes or is it BYOB?

I had a great time at SuperCamp which I'm sure you could apply a bit to dirt biking. They also provide everything, boots, gear, helmets, bikes, food, etc....

that looks like a lot of fun, and for the price(including a bike, discount if you bring your own), probably worth a shot. Doesn't sound as structured as ASC, but the class sizes look small and probably a ton of riding time. Looks like you get to learn more skills than ASC. They have a MX track, fireroad, brems, watercrossing. and the TT with jumps. It may be something to check out at a future date.
