you're fine with just the pressure plate/springs/caps. i'm guessing the PP came with a new throwout bearing already installed?

Give that girl a wrench and a beer. Anybody that can pick a coochie pad like that has enough testosterone to operate some hand tools!
hehe

That would be short for hoochie coochie! [laugh]

Does working out with 200lbs on squat and 225lbs on dead lifts mean I have too much testosterone? :-*

Bonnie, the clip ons can be a bit of a pain in the ass to get on. Mostly due to readjusting all the controls and making sure you have clearance for al the hydraulic lines. But it does involve removing the headlight bucket for a while and messing with the rubber damping bolts for the gauges. I've done 2 sets of clip ons for monsters, it's not that bad, but it is time consuming. And you will probably want to use at least 1 power tool (drill) for the controls.

I'll keep that in mind, thanks
If you get the Rizomas you may have to flip your banjo bolts on the master cylinder 180 degrees to account for the riser on the clip ons. If you don't, the lines may kink up on the riser.
??? Huh? You lost me two posts ago. Guess I am all out of testosterone. How about you guys work on the bike. I will watch and get you a cold beer when you need one! :-*

Well, I guess that's up to *** and everyone else. It does look good, but there's some things that aren't quite right. We shall talk over dinner! [thumbsup]
Lower the gauges [thumbsup] With those low clip ons the gauges look really odd at stock height. If you decide to lower them, try and find a U bracket from a part-off bike. That way you can return the bike to stock if need be. Other than that the "S4Resse" looks damn fine with the new mods.
Good job [moto]

WOW! Thanks for the compliment! We still have some work to do to make it right. I really enjoyed riding it last night. It felt like a better ride for me with the clip ons. BTW, your ride last night was pretty sweet!

I learned to drive a standard in my dad's 78 silver anniversary vette. He has had many different models over the years. The only one he has never let me drive is the one he races for obvious reasons. Love those cars. Tommy and I just can't fit all the kids into one!?! Although, I remember my sister and I riding around in dad's vettes and one of us had to curl up in the back. It was fun, but the laws weren't so strict then.

Yeah, I LOVE that car. First Vette. Not sure how I managed that after all the other sports cars we've owned. Oh well, I've addressed the error of my ways [evil]
With just Sam (who's almost 13), it easier for it to be just "our" car - he loves getting dropped off at school now... Beats the hell outta my previous car, a Saab 9-3.
Besides, Alan drives the "family" car; four-door Dodge Crew Cab, Cummins Turbo Diesel. Talk about torque :o Yeah, baby!

Oceane used to give me hell over driving her around in a Volvo wagon V70 T5. It was such a fun car and not bad looking. She'd better watch her attitude or I'll show up at school to pick her up with rollers in my hair, wearing a bath robe and smoking a cigarette. Now I am grocery getting in the big black truck, but I've got my hot pink Ducati sticker on the back window! Tommy and I are confined to car shopping those that carry seven passenger...really narrows down the options. We only get our kids for a short time, though...

I really dont know. I haven't really been harassing people about helping with this because so much has already been completed. What we really need to do right now is analyze it and figure out how to smooth out the rough edges. As far as tomorrow, I really don't know. I feel weird about organizing something at your house, um....well, b/c it's yours. I'm game for anything. If people are planning to come over and have a beer or two, I will be there with the bike and we can try and figure a few things out. I'm really game for anything. You all decide. [thumbsup]
