I knew there had to be a reason I woke up with "Mama Tried" stuck in my head this morning.

I got to see him live in 74 when I was an 18yr old Private in the Army. I got hooked up with this smoking hot chick that haunts my dumbass to this day whenever I hear a Haggard song.

In a freaky turn of events today, turns out my boss is a first cousin to Merle and left town today to head back to NorCal for the services (my boss lived near him as well) I'll bet that's one hell of a turnout and one hell of a celebration of a life well lived. [thumbsup]
