13,000 miles and I was in need of a new chain. Sprockets still looked good but I decided to swap out the set for safe measure, the new sprockets weren't that expensive anyway.
Checked with Monster Parts and got all three. Got a Superlight 15T front, Superlight 46T rear, and a DID VX2 chain.
Not a bad weight reduction either:
Stock New
Front 9oz 6oz
Rear 2lb2oz 1lb4oz
Chain 4lb3oz 3lb10oz
Total reduction = 1lb10oz of rotating mass!
Nice! Can't wait to recog my 796...

Haven't you tried a 14T on yours? ??? Chains and sprockets seem to last 15K - 25K if maintained well.
Will go to a 15/41 probably when I change, but quality steel. Have had poor experience with alloy sprockets in the past FWIW.
