Never cared for the Miata myself...although that one is an improvement.

I actually found myself owning (selling) a mid 90's model VERY briefly. I drove it a bunch, and it did nothing for me.

That's a great looking Miata.  Too bad it added more weight to the already under-powered car.  If they really want to compete, they need to make a MazdaSpeed version.

I would consider if they can put a worthy engine making 220+
Everything else looks great on that car IMO

Compete with what? Who else has a roadster in that price range?

yeah, it's hard to beat a miata. bought one for the wife as an engagement present. I get motos, she gets verts.

It turned out not to like sustained highway runs, and lacked the get out of the way necessary to access work. A mustang GT had the horses, but didn't have the chops in the curves... now she has a BMW... not perfect either, but I'm not chasing handling demons.
