Title: Torque Setting for Rear Sprocket Nuts 2000 Monster 900 ie Dark
Post by: scuro on August 21, 2016, 08:35:18 PM
Anyone have the torque settings for the 6 nuts that hold the rear sprocket on a 2000 Ducati Monster 900 ie? I'm working with the original service manual as well as the Haynes book. No luck.

I also wasn't able to come up with the setting for the two small bolts on the front sprocket retainer plate....

Rear sprocket 46 Nm. blue locktight
Front sprocket retainer screws 5 Nm.  If you don't have the proper torque wrench, screwdriver tight will work fine.  I use blue locktite, one grade stronger than recommended
