Heya,
Just figured I'd chime in, I use to own a Sport classic but it met an untimely demise and I've since gone through a few other bikes, from British to Japanese. But here I am, back to the Duc, I just can't stay away ;D
I picked up a '09 Pearl White 696 as a companion bike to my 650R, and I have to say, its a blast to ride!
Hope to learn a lot on this forum, as I'd like to try and work on this bike myself.
Congrats on a fine motorcycle [thumbsup] - and welcome on the DMF, you'll have a great time. Just leave your credit card with someone who really wants to look after your finances and has the strength to say no. Modding is addictive ;D

Tell me about it, I say, the exhaust and thats it. And I've already done the sprocket change, and installed new CRG folding mirrors, and want black rearsets and the tail tidy kit.
I hate the upgrade bug, lol.
Congrats on the new 696, and welcome to the DMF. :) Good luck keeping the modding in check.
We'd love to see photos if you get a chance. ;D
Your avatar clip is from a Swedish movie ( [laugh]great fun) - are you Swedish? (Norwegian myself) [thumbsup]
Were you at the BBQ place off Sugarloaf on wed night a few weeks ago? If not here is a link to a good group of guys that meet regularly in Alpharetta for some good riding. http://ducati.meetup.com/1/
Though my bike is packed for Japan, the guys are great and had a great ride the other weekend. Congrats on the bike and welcome.
