Other than keeping them from bending, are there any practical reasons why those little round pucks are between the fins? Couple have come out of mine, and I kinda want to pull the rest of them out.
There's a pic in this post... http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=1788.0 (http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=1788.0)
Rumor has it they keep the fins from ringing and failing passby noise testing...
yup. they're an anti-noise thing. your bike will leave them here and there, as they gradually come out, but if you want to hasten the process and pull them all then go for it.

That, sadly, is how I first noticed them... few on the floor of the garage.
or as I have heard them referred to, Duc Droppings!!
They are chewy. Mine have all fallen out no plans to put'em back.
HA! I remember those! It's been a while. I wonder if Ducati sells titaniam replacements.
About half of mine had fallen out when I bought my bike. I used some cord from a weed-wacker to loop around the more difficult to reach ones. Pulled right out. Don't notice a sound difference. Looks better.
