Title: What oil for 696 oil change?

Right now i have some green motul oil in my '09 696.  Not sure of the viscosity.  Is it the 300v thats green?  10-40 or 15-50?

300V is green.  Both 10W-40 and 15W-50 are available.

Owners manualrecommends 10-40.  15-50 only for hotter temp driving?

From the owner's manual (p78):

Oil viscosity
SAE 15W-50
The other viscosity values shown in the table can be used if
the local average temperature is within the limits specified
for that oil viscosity.

There is also chart that shows what oils can be used in different temperature ranges.  10W-40 through 20W-50 are acceptable for warm weather.
