Another great Rock & Roller gone :(
RIP Chuck.
I was lucky enough to see Chuck and Jerry Lee together, in the early 70's. They burned the house down. [bow_down]
Saw Chuck Berry open for the Dead in '95 at the Portland Meadows. He walked up to the mic and said matter-of-factly, "I swear to god I'm gonna rock this place."
And he did.
RIP
RIP Mr Berry, a damn good run indeed. [thumbsup]
I saw Davy Knowles tonight.
He opened his set with a searing rendition of Johnny B. Goode. [bow_down] [bow_down]
RIP Chuck Berry.
90 is a good run indeed!
