Title: Is my bike trying to tell me something?
Post by: carraway on July 21, 2008, 07:37:51 AM
I have an 05 S2r 800 with about 13,000 km on it.  Yesterday I went to start the bike and the digital read out on the odometer had the following "NA Int"  reading, after a minute the mileage reading appeared.  There was no trouble starting the bike.  Has this happend to anyone else?  Is it something I should be concerned about?

Any info is much appreciated.

I am not 100% sure but I think that that appears when your service maintenance interval hasn't been reset. When you do a service your shop should reset it so it doesn't flash on start up.

Yeah do a search on the forum there is a way you can reset it yourself if you bike has been properly service I tried it and it worked so I did not have to make a unnecessary trip to the shop.

Thanks,

As an 05 with only 13,000 km (8,077 miles), it's saying RIDE ME!!!  RIDE ME!!!

This is actually correct ^

When you did your 10k service, the shop should have reset it.

You can reset it yourself by pressing and holding both buttons on the cluster and turning the key on.

But...  An 05 with only 13,000 km, it's crying RIDE ME!!!  RIDE ME!!!
