Hey all, I figured I would get a 2017 Ducati In The Rockies thread kicked off. I will be moving close to that area (Pagosa Springs, CO) in the near future and will be doing everything I can to make it there this year. Ive got a couple of route options for a ride there plotted out already. One is for the "Im hardcore dedicated, butthurt doesnt exist" rider and the other is for the "I just want to have a nice weekend cruise then go back to Ouray and drink/socialize with others" rider. No idea which will be my route as it will depend on what the conditions are. Here are the links to the routes I had in mind.

Go ahead and throw up the street view along some of these routes. The riding is hands down some of the best the US has to offer. I grew up near there and have been all over those passes.
With planning started, my possible plans is to bring a fifth wheel to one of the local Ouray rv parks and sponsoring in some riders from the Great Plains DOC or possibly some others if they need a place. This plan is still tentative at the moment. I would be very interested to see who all has their sights on attending the event and would like to see a good turnout.

At this point I havent heard of anything on the page either. As far as ive seen and such, its been the first full weekend in August pretty much every year. They have stated on the FB page that they were going to be merging it to their Ducati Motor Club Denver page but i havent heard a single thing about the event this year. I say lets get the ball rolling now. If anything the first week in August, (the 4-6th) is as good of time as any. I plan on doing my best to host a few individuals from the Great Plains Desmo Owners Club myself.
